SignHub is the successor to Ismail Signs — the Johannesburg signage business master signwriter Ismail Umar built over three decades. The same craft, now with websites and software alongside it.
Our Story
SignHub grew out of Ismail Signs, the Johannesburg signage business Ismail Umar started in the early 1990s — more than 32 years ago. What began as hand-painted shopfronts became custom fabrication, large-format printing and illuminated signage.
Good design is more than looks. It's understanding what a business actually does and who it's trying to reach, then making something that works for both.
Today the same workshop also builds websites, dashboards and automation. Whether you need a shopfront sign or the software behind the counter, it's one team that handles both.
