Do I need council approval for a shopfront sign in Joburg?+
For most standard shopfront and fascia signs on your own storefront, no. Illuminated signs, anything projecting over a pavement, and billboards can need City of Johannesburg sign-off, and many landlords or shopping centres have their own sign specs. We'll flag it upfront if yours needs approval and can help with the drawings.
What happens to an LED or illuminated sign during load-shedding?+
It switches off with the power and comes back on when the power returns — no damage. If you need it lit through outages (a 24-hour spot, say), we can run the sign off a UPS or inverter so it rides through load-shedding.
Will the sign survive the Highveld sun and summer storms?+
Yes — for outdoor signs we use UV-stable print, weatherproof substrates like Chromadek, and proper fixings. Indoor-grade vinyl used outdoors is the usual reason cheap signs fade or peel within a season; we don't do that.
Can you match my exact brand colours?+
Yes. Send your logo files or a Pantone/CMYK reference and we colour-match the print and vinyl. If you only have a printed sample, we can match to that too.
Do you install, or only make the sign?+
Both — we survey, manufacture and install ourselves across Joburg and greater Gauteng, so one team owns it from quote to the sign on your wall.
How long will it take?+
Simple printed work like banners and vinyl is often a few days. Fabricated or illuminated signage takes longer because of manufacturing and, where needed, approvals. You'll get a firm timeline with your quote.
